This was my 1st time trying this place and I have to say the cheesesteak was delicious. The roll was fresh and the meat was tasty. I'll be back.
Stopped in here on a whim with my daughter and was looking to sit down and eat. We ordered a medium pie which had 8 slices and was $11. It was delicious mom and pop type pizza. On the greasier side. It took a 12 min wait from ordering. No ATM for grabbing cash and charges under $10 have a .$50 surcharge. Would order from here again for pizza my kids will be into. And also want to try whatever "inside out pizza" is--fried and pizza? How can it be bad??
I was so happy to find when we moved to Overbrook Park that the closest pizza place to us had inside-outs and whiz fries. Further delighted on trying the pizza and, I'm not sure what it is, but there's something about the tastiness of the cheese that's SO good. Love the sauce, as well. Add in the people, Mike and his sister, neither of whom have EVER been surly or abrupt in all these years no matter how busy they were, and you have one great pizza place. We love them and the food so much, that they're still our primary pizza place even though we've moved out of the neighborhood. Only two reasons I still can't give them five stars. First, no slices. Not as big a deal to me now since I can't walk up there for lunch anymore, but it would still be nice. Second, I actually stopped walking up there for lunch a looong time ago because I can't eat in. They have clean tables and everything, but for some reason, the dining area always smells of cigarette smoke. Other than that, a great place we'll always go back to. Including tonight, in fact.
